Hello from Bamberg fellow racquetball players,

Hope you all had a safe and pleasant Thanksgiving, and that you all got plenty, but not too much to eat. We recently added a few more players to our group one of the most recent players was Delilah Whitfield. She joined us in Mannheim for the Coleman Turkey Day Doubles Shoot Out and although Bamberg is still working on building our force we did well. After only three weeks of playing racquetball, Delilah partnered with Joey Gibbons and placed 2ndin Mixed Open Doubles, you go girl! Vic Farrier and I (Maria Ripstine) placed 1st, thanks for your help Vic.

Meantime, back in Bamberg, Charles Ford held the annual Turkey Shootout. Not too bad of a turn out just about 12 participants. Some of our experienced players came out and finally showed off some of their well developed skills as well as some newer players like DeAndre Favors. So let's hope that we see everyone at the Angel Tree Tournament.

Speaking of which the Angel Tree tournament in Heidelberg is around the corner and I hope you all have been preparing yourself for that. Let’s end the year strong, come out and compete in the last tournament for the year as well as support the ACS Angel Tree. Don’t forget to bring your gift with you, it doesn’t have to be anything extravagant, about $10 or so will suffice. Look forward to seeing all you in Heidelberg and you are welcome to join our recently created ladder in Bamberg, new competition is always welcome.

So burn off that turkey and keep them running,

Rippy
